La Union Triumphs as Overall Champion at Regional 4-H Youth Camp 2025

La Union has once again proven its excellence and unity as it was hailed Overall Champion at the recently concluded Regional 4-H Youth Camp 2025 held in Punta Riviera, Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The province’s delegation showcased outstanding talent, innovation, and leadership across various competitions. Leading the triumph were the first-place victories of Edmer Mueca for the Health Category and Promotional Video Making; Prince Nonesa for the SongCon: Tinig ng Kabataan; Norilyn Cruz for the Quiz Bee; and the team of Geneva Gañalon and Razel Mondejar for the Tomato Processing.

Meanwhile, La Union’s participants also captured several second-place awards, including the Siglat 4-H Club of Luna in the Heart and Hands Categories; Vivien Joy Ducusin in the Head Category, as well as the Most Outstanding 4-H Member; and the dynamic duo Vivien Joy Ducusin and Ernest Kim B. Galzote, who won in the Agri-Innovation Pitching. Special awards also went to Kenneth Mueca as Mr. 4-H Advocacy 2025, along with recognitions for Hanna Jade Nayal, Cedrick John Lopez, and Justin Pascua.

This victory is a testament to the strength of the La Union PROBINSYAnihan spirit among the youth, elevating the province’s pride and excellence on the regional stage. The 4-H Club, a youth organization dedicated to education and income-generating initiatives in rural communities, continues to thrive with the strong support of the Provincial Government of La Union. Under the leadership of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, the province remains committed to empowering the KaPROBINSYAnihan, especially the Kabataang ELYUcano, by creating meaningful opportunities for growth, leadership, and sustainable development.
