The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) made Valentine’s Day extra special for its employees with a series of engaging activities held on February 14, 2025, at the PGLU Lobby, City of San Fernando, La Union.
With the support of Governor Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, the Office of the Provincial Administrator - Human Resource Management Unit (OPA-HRMU) spearheaded the initiative, bringing joy to employees through simple yet meaningful gestures.
One of the event’s highlights was the color-coded shirt activity, where employees wore shirts representing their relationship status, adding a fun and interactive element to the celebration. Employees also participated in the Blindfolded Heart-Scoop Game, where they had the chance to win various Valentine's Day treats. To make the occasion even more memorable, a photo wall was set up, allowing employees to capture and commemorate the special day.
According to OPA-HRMU, the annual Valentine’s Day activity highlights the importance of employee well-being, recognizing that a positive and supportive work environment leads to better service delivery for the public.
By spreading love and appreciation in the workplace, PGLU continues to foster camaraderie, gratitude, and teamwork among its employees as they strengthen their shared commitment to public service and their important role in La Union PROBINSYAnihan.
