Quick Response: PGLU Provides Immediate Assistance to Fire Victims in Aludaid, San Juan, La Union

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David directed the Provincial First Responders to provide immediate assistance to the family affected by the fire incident in Barangay Aludaid, San Juan, La Union at around 11 in the evening last night, July 10, 2024.

Upon receipt of the report, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) immediately coordinated with the MDRRMO of San Juan and the Bureau of Fire Protection San Juan to put out the fire.

The PGLU team checked the vital signs of the victims. They also brought a shelter kit, two hygiene kits, two DOH Kits, and five food packs. Gov. Rafy also ordered that further assistance be provided to those affected including financial assistance and aid to their other needs.

The victims temporarily relocated to their relative's house nearby.
