Strengthening the promotion of the Iloco language through a display of talents and creativity, the Provincial Government of La Union staged the Timek ti Ayat Vocal Solo and Kanta Sala Competition at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union on March 17, 2023, as part of the Ayat Fest 2023 in celebration of the 173rd La Union Founding Anniversary.
Identified as one of the most flood-prone areas in the province and also a coastal town, the Municipality of Luna capacitated a total of 36 community responders through the conduct of Basic Water and Rescue Training (BAWAR) by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office on March 13-17, 2023 aligned with Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David’s thrust for quick emergency response time during disaster.
