A spectacular display of colorful, bright, and illuminating costumes and props showcasing La Union’s story, culture and products took the spotlight in this year’s SILAW – Sparkling Images of La Union Agri-Tourism Wanders: La Union Parade of Lights Street Dancing Competition and Dance Showdown.
The SaLU-SALO: Saluad La Union para Serbisio, Agri-Turismo, Lako ken Oportunidad capped with a total of P862,226.00 sales hailing the Municipality of Sudipen as Best Agri-Tourism Booth and the Municipality of Santo Tomas was declared as the top selling booth with P122,400 sales on March 10, 2023 at the PasaLUbong Center, Mabanag Quadrangle, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Solidifying partnership for mutual developments, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David and the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) led by Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III embarked on another milestone as they formally signed the Memorandum of Agreement on Sisterhood on March 10, 2023 held at the Thunderbird Resort, Poro Point, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Symbolizing 173 strong years of La Union’s institution as a province, 173 seedlings were planted during the simultaneous provincewide tree-planting activity on March 10, 2023.
