The Provincial Government of La Union, together with the National Economic and Development Authority Regional Office 1, conducted an orientation on the Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System for Local Project Monitoring Committee on November 16, 2022 at the BAC Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 35 series of 2022, Reorganizing and Strengthening the Project Monitoring Committee of the Province of La Union and other related purposes thereof, the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) was reorganized on October 14, 2022. The Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator facilitated the conduct of the activity attended by the PPMC members and technical partners headed by PPMC chairperson, Mr. Randy Christoph A. Berner, Local Finance Committee and Provincial Engineering Office representatives.
This orientation serves as the primary step towards the strengthening of the committee signifying its engagement in La Union PROBINSYAnihan. The PPMC affirmed its commitment in promoting transparency and accountability in the Province along with its unwavering support in the attainment of the vision, La Union: The Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025.
