Leveraging improved public service delivery through Information Communication Technology, the Provincial Government of La Unionโs (PGLU) Information and Communication Technology introduced a virtual private cloud called Synology Drive to 84 employees of various PGLU Offices and District Hospitals via video conferencing on September 15, 2022.
Synology Drive is an all-in-one solution for file management, sharing, and synchronization that will address PGLU's digital information security. Employees can easily access, back up, and synchronize their files using the said cloud storage from any platform at any time.
PGLU employees can also use the Synology Office to edit spreadsheets, documents, and slides, allowing employees to collaborate smoothly on their projects and deliverables more effectively.
With the implementation of this initiative, PGLU employees now have secured storage for pertinent information that can be utilized in order to provide effective services to promote #LaUnionProbinsyanihan for the benefit of its constituents.
