The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) together with the Commission on Audit (COA) Regional Office 1 conducted the CY 2020 Annual Audit Exit Conference on March 8, 2021 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Present during the conference were Gov. Francisco Emmanuel βPacoyβ R. Ortega III, the Department Heads of the PGLU and governance partners from the COA-RO 1 Assistant Regional Director Ms. Jocelyn R. Ramos, OIC β Supervising Auditor Ms. Tracy Ann D. Sunico, Audit Group β Team Leader Ms. Marilyn L. Reyes and audit team members.
The said conference is an annual activity of the PGLU and the COA which aims to communicate to the different offices, work units and district hospitals of the PGLU on the observations and recommendations on its financial operation to ensure fair and balance reporting. The core of the discussion focused on the CoViD-19 fund receipts, allocation and utilization, the local revenues of the province and other key financial reports.
