To hone the Budget Proposal Formulation skills of the Administrative Officers and produce more effective Procurement Plan for the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), the Provincial Budget Office together with the Provincial General Services Office and the Secretariat of the Bids and Awards Committee conducted a workshop on the Procurement Plan Formulation attended by the respective Administrative Officers of different PGLU Offices on August 22, 2022 at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) Conference Hall, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.
La Union's Provincial Budget officer Ms. Catherine E. Franco lead the discussions regarding the budget and procurement planning linkages. Ms. Franco also reiterated concerns and updates regarding the Budgetary Requirements for the upcoming year and reminded the offices to align their budget and procurement plans to the strategic plans of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David for the province and its constituents. Provincial General Services Officer Mr. Arvin C. Camacho then reiterated the various guidelines and procedures to be undertaken by the various offices and district hospitals in preparing their indicative Procurement Plans.
The attendees commit to be part of #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan as they meticulously and judiciously develop their Procurement Plans and to include the betterment of La Union's constituent's well-being and to conduct cost-benefit analysis as they come up with their upcoming Budget and Procurement Plans for the Calendar Year 2023.
