Republic Act No. 10661 s. 2015 declares the month of November of every year as "National Children's Month," which commemorates the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly on November 20, 1989. It mandates local governments to facilitate and encourage the celebration of this month.
The PGLU recognizes children as the nation's most valuable assets and emphasizes their role in nation-building.
