In the light of continuous innovation, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) launched the Legislative Information System Search (LISearch) to provide the public free access to legislative documents of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) on August 26, 2022.
Developed by the SP Tracking and Monitoring Unit, the system is one of the commitments of the SP for the first 100 days of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David. It was made possible with the assistance of the Provincial Information Office, Information and Communications Technology Unit, and Provincial Legal Office.
Joining the SP in the launch were Mr. Rowan Joshua E. Dimaculangan, Provincial Information Officer; Ms Therosha I. Ballesteros of the Information Communications and Technology Unit; and Atty. Janette I. Agsaulio of Provincial Legal Office. The attendees expressed their appreciation about the creation of LISearch, its significance in promoting inoculation awareness to the public.
The system is a testament of PGLU's commitment in promoting Freedom of Information in La Union by leveling up the Legislative Information System in the province.
