Representatives from the Provincial Government of La Union โ Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) attended the Regional Launching of PINAS: The Basura Buster on March 24-25, 2022 at The Monarch Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan.
EnP. Annalyn Rosario-Valdez, Officer-in-Charge of PG-ENRO and Supervising Environmental Management Specialist presented the best practices of the Province of La Union on waste management. Highlighted in the presentation was PG-ENROโs Project ECHO (Ecobricking Challenge at Home is On!), a program which started at the onset of the pandemic encouraging the residents to stay at home during the quarantine period and make ecobrick-ready bottles to be exchanged for rice.
DENR-EMB Region 1โs OIC-Chief on Ecological Solid Waste Management Section EnP. Marygail Antonnette N. Killa and Engr. Ryanne Narvaez, Chief of Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division presented the certificate of recognition to EnP. Valdez for serving as the resource speaker during the said event.
