With the provinceβs exceptional initiatives and contribution in promoting environmental protection, conservation and development, Gov. Pacoy receives a Plaque of Recognition from Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 1 Regional Executive Director Atty. Crizaldy M. Barcelo, on June 30, 2021 at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
As the Environment Month 2021 concludes, the award recognizes the successful implementation of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) of various environmental programs, projects and activities as proven by the attainment of Best and Cleanest River in the Country by the Municipality of Naguilian. The award was attained with the concerted efforts of the DENR, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, PGLU and the municipal government.
The PGLU commits to continue its #KalikasanNaman campaign for a continuous environmental sustainability ultimately leading to a #StrongerLaUnion.
