Bringing healthcare and wellness assistance closer to the Agri-Tourism producers and their families in the province, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Provincial Health Office conducted a Medical and Dental Mission at Barangay Basca, Aringay, La Union on May 26, 2022.
Almost 100 Agri-Tourism producers and their family members, as well as residents of the said barangay, benefited from the said health program dubbed as Saluad Salun-at Medical and Dental outreach program.
The beneficiaries were able to avail various free medical and dental services such as blood typing, random blood glucose test, tooth extraction, medical consultation, pap smear and circumcision. Free medicines and food supplements were also distributed during the outreach program.
The PGLU continues to develop different health programs to promote healthy lifestyle of our kaprobinsiaan which is essential in achieving a #StrongerLaUnion, a province worth living in.
