π—£π—šπ—Ÿπ—¨ π—¦π—˜π—–π—¨π—₯π—˜π—¦ π—•π—˜π—¦π—§ 𝗣π—₯π—’π—π—˜π—–π—§ π—œπ— π—£π—Ÿπ—˜π— π—˜π—‘π—§π—˜π—₯ 𝗔π—ͺ𝗔π—₯𝗗. The Provincial Government of La Union secured the 1st Runner Up in the Best Project Implementer Category during the CY 2020 State of the Region’s Development Conference and Regional Development Council 1 (RDC-1) Awards and Recognition Program on May 26, 2021 via video conference. The award was granted to La Union in the construction of the Balecbec-Basca Farm-to-Market Road.

In the same conference, RDC-1 Chairperson Juan Carlos S. Medina delivered his State of the Region’s Address.
