Affirming a continuing commitment towards a peaceful and orderly province, Gov. Francisco Emmanuel βPacoyβ Ortega III, represented by Governor-Elect Raphaelle Veronica βRafyβ Ortega-David graced the simultaneous post-election pledge of support signing held at the Marangal Grandstand, Camp Diego Silang, Brgy. Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union this morning, June 6, 2022, to ensure a safer province after the conduct of National and Local Elections 2022.
Gov-elect Rafy along with the Provincial Electoral Candidates and stakeholders took their oath of support followed by affixing their signature through the signing of the pledge of commitment in constant attainment of a Fair La Union.
The program, spearheaded by the La Union Police Provincial Office, aims to ensure the continuity of peace and development in the Province of La Union with commitment for unity and harmonious relationship regardless of party, political affiliations, principles and beliefs.
Meanwhile, Electoral candidates for the May 9 Elections from different municipalities in La Union also joined the simultaneous post-election pledge of support signing hosted by their respective municipal police stations and election supervisors.
In an inspirational message delivered by Gov. Elect Rafy, Gov. Pacoy calls for unity among the Kaprobinsiaan.
βNow more than ever, we at the Provincial Government of La Union enjoin everyone to support the various projects and programs of the next set of leaders for the next three to six years. Our unity will spell the good fate that awaits our province. Let us wish our new leadersβ success for we are with them in their victory. Their success is our success as nation.β
The Province of La Union has been a peaceful and orderly province for years, hence, the PGLU assured that safety of each Kaprobinsiaan remains the topmost priority of the Provincial Government as we journey towards the realization of a #StrongerLaUnion, a province worth living in.
