La Union Bursts in Hues in Colorfest Fun Run; Reflects Inclusivity, Unity

The colorful spirit of inclusivity and unity continues to prevail in the #AyatFest2023 as the Provincial Government of La Union in partnership with Color Fest Asia hosted the Color Fest La Union 2023 gathering more than 700 kaprobinsiaan participants, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), and children at the Poro Point Baywalk, City of San Fernando today, March 4, 2023.

With high energy, fun, and vibrance, the program kick started with a warm-up session to prepare the body for the run.

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David enthusiastically led the opening of the fun run bursting in colors which featured 3KM and 5KM distances. In her message, Gov. Rafy underscored that the event is symbolic of inclusivity that is a prerequisite in achieving development and progress.

Families, group of friends and employees from different agencies enjoyed the moment as they unite in the event. Members of the Pederasyon ng mga may Kapansanan ng La Union and a group of senior citizens also took part in the awesome experience.

Adding on to the excitement, runners heated up the stage as they showcased their amazing dance moves during the dance showdown. Everyone was hyped in party music and crowd dancing.

The festive running event truly displayed unity, love and inclusivity amongst kaprobinsiaan while promoting health and wellness in time of the celebration of the 173rd La Union Founding Anniversary.
