Showing commitment for continual improvement of Management System in Provincial Hospitals in La Union, Provincial Health Officers Dr. Eduardo S. Posadas and Dr. Dan William Y. Dacanay II, together with the La Union District Hospitals Chiefs, ISO Auditors, ISO Officers, and Document Control Custodians convened for the opening of the International Organization for Standardization Audit on April 7, 2022 at the Dr. Eufranio "Franny" C. Eriguel Memorial Hall, La Union Medical Center, Agoo, La Union.
The La Union District Hospitals (LUDHs) successfully passed the Stage 1 Audit of Integrated Management Systems: ISO 14001:2018 Environmental Management System (EMS), ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS), and Surveillance 1 of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) and recommended for Stage 2 Audit (IMS) and continuous recertification (QMS) by the National Quality Assurance (NQA).
Stage 2 Audit for the Integrated Management System (IMS)shall be held on 4th Week of April 2022 and Surveillance 2 will be in November 2022. The La Union District Hospitals as well as La Union Medical Center assures the public they will continue to deliver quality services to its patients / customers by being compliant to the statutory and regulatory requirements of internal and international standards and regulation.
