The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of La Union has adopted through an ordinance the LOVE (Live, Own, Visit and Enjoy) La Union slogan as the official tourism logo of the province during its regular session held on March 8, 2022.

The slogan Love La Union was institutionalized to highlight the province as the preferred tourist destination in Northern Luzon and sustain a general level of awareness for La Union as a place to โ€œLive, Own, Visit, Enjoyโ€ (LOVE), and shall be used in all its promotional materials.

Board Member Jennifer C. Mosuela-Fernandez, being the chair of the Committee on Laws, Rules and Regulation and the sponsor of the ordinance, said that in order to position the Province of La Union as the โ€œHeart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025โ€, it is necessary to create a tourism brand for La Union which focuses on its current strengths and resources that are ready to absorb tourists.

The said ordinance likewise punishes any person, natural or juridical, to print, use, publish and display the official tourism logo of the province except when there is express written consent of the province.
