Ayon sa DOST-PAGASA, nakataas na ang 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮 sa buong lalawigan ng La Union.
Namataan ang sentro ng mata ng bagyo sa silangan ng Virac, Catanduanes. Gumagalaw ito pa-kanluran hilagang kanluran sa bilis na 20 km/h.
