As part of the month-long celebration for the 172nd Foundation Anniversary of the Province La Union, The Office of the Provincial Governor – Information and Communications Technology Unit (OPG-ICTU) in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology Luzon Cluster 1 La Union Office I (DICT-LC1-LU) kick-started the VaxCertPH Caravan for the residents of La Union during the Aldaw iti Kaprobinsiaan 2022 program on February 26, 2022 at the Mabanag Hall Parking Area, City of San Fernando, La Union.

VaxCertPH Caravan is a week-long distribution of Vaccination Certificate (VaxCert) that includes free printing of Vaccination Certificate to all vaccinated in the province, and counterchecking of problem in missing information during retrieval of VaxCert.

The said caravan is one of the services that the residents can avail during the said program in return for their love and support to the Province La Union.

A total of 150 individuals were assisted in retrieving and printing their VaxCertPH, 108 walk-ins and 42 registered pick-ups.

VaxCertPH serves as the country’s vaccine certificate system under the DICT and Department of Health (DOH). It aims to represent the certificate holder’s vaccination status. Currently, the system covers only fully vaccinated individuals.
Furthermore, the VaxCertPh Caravan will last until March 4, 2022 at the Robinsons Place, City of San Fernando, La Union.
