PGLU's Taxation System Impresses Quezon City Assessor's Office

The Quezon City Assessor’s Office embarked on a benchmarking visit to the Provincial Government of La Union - Office of the Provincial Assessor (PGLU-OPAss) on May 3, 2024, focusing primarily on evaluating the assessor module of the Electronic Real Property Taxation System (eRPTS) version 1.
Led by Provincial Assessor Engr. Arnulfo A. Cacho, OPAss treated the the Quezon City delegation, led by Assistant City Assessor for Administration Priscela B. Verzonilla, to a comprehensive presentation of the eRPTS version 1 features. These features encompassed a wide array of functionalities, including quick search, Scan Archives, Report generation, detailed logs, Encoding of assessment details in the FAAS, Tax Declaration, taxpayer masters, and an extensive maps database.
The Quezon City delegation lauded the eRPTS system for its impressive features and demonstrated effectiveness. Recognizing its potential to streamline assessment processes and generate insightful reports, the delegation expressed their intention to adopt the system moving forward.
One noteworthy aspect highlighted during the presentation was the system's evolution over the years, enriched through continuous feedback and input from end-users. This improvement process has resulted in a user-friendly platform, tailored to meet the unique needs of the end-users and the local assessors in the province. Once the General Revision takes place, the system will be upgraded to Version 2, introducing additional features aimed at further streamlining the assessment processes in the province. Version 2 of the eRPTS is envisioned to be a significant upgrade, incorporating advanced functionalities to meet the evolving needs of assessors and enhance overall efficiency.
This benchmarking activity to OPAss marks just one in a series of such visits conducted over the previous years, underscoring PGLU’s ongoing commitment to striving for innovation, forging connections, and providing high-quality service to all KaPROBINSYAnihan.
