With the steadfast support of the Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III to the Department of Education's Progressive Expansion of Face-to-Face classes, 389 public and private schools in the province have been approved to implement this learning modality allowing learners from kindergarten to grade 12 join limited in-person classes this school year.
The Department of Education Regional Office 1 has also acknowledged the dedication and support provided by the PGLU in the schools' smooth transition from modular to face-to-face learning method.
"Your sense of responsibility and dedication in supporting our schools have contributed meaningfully to the realization of our goals and it's gratifying to see our schools getting back in full operation because of your assistance," DepED Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino said.
Rest assured that the PGLU will continue monitoring the safety and security of the learners and school personnel by closely coordinating with concerned agencies.
