PGLU Improves Organizational Competence through Supervisory Development Course

With the aim of improving organizational performance and service delivery of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), a total of 37 current and developing supervisors from the different offices and hospitals of the PGLU have completed the Supervisory Development Course Tracks II and III from May 22-26, 2023 at the Vista La Vita, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The five-day course developed the supervisors in decision-making, problem-solving, coaching, conducting meetings, and presenting through lectures, practical applications and autoscopy facilitated by speakers from the Civil Service Commission and the National Economic Development Authority.
Gov. Raphael Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David invited the course completers to continue being steadfast partners in La Union PROBINSYAnihan by playing their roles as effective supervisors in the PGLU. In her message delivered by Executive Assistant IV Justo "Tito" Orros III, Gov. Rafy expressed, "I hope that as part of our transformative governance journey, all of you will continue to be our steadfast partners in achieving our vision and mission through the effective execution of our P.U.S.O. Agenda."
Gov. Rafy also challenged the supervisors to apply learnings while applying the RVOD Formula and be Relevant, Vibrant, Outstanding, and Developmental supervisors.
All supervisor-completers committed to take on the challenge to be active movers in the organization to achieve the vision and live up to the mission of the Provincial Government.
