PGLU Employees Take Oath, Honored for Dedicated Service

To celebrate its workforce and recognize its commitment to public service, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) held the March Mass Oath-Taking of Newly-Appointed Employees and Conferment of Service Awards.

These ceremonies served as platforms to acknowledge employees’ dedication and express appreciation for their contributions. The mass oath-taking ceremony introduced a total of 59 newly appointed employees to fulfill their duties and responsibilities. Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David administered the oath for the Executive Department and District Hospitals at the Provincial Capitol Grounds on March 10, 2025, while Vice Gov. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega led the ceremony for the Legislative Department at the Office of the Provincial Vice Governor.

Meanwhile, the Conferment of Service Awards honored six retiring and retired employees for their years of exemplary service. Administrative Aide I Rosemarie Agtarap was recognized for 24 years of service; Project Development Officer III Loida Rivera was honored for 25 years; Administrative Aide IV Aurelio Lopez was lauded for 26 years; Cook II Eduard Celis was acknowledged for 31 years of service; Administrative Aide IV Irene Diamse was celebrated for 38 years of service; and Population Program Worker II Nancy Camillo was awarded for her 42 years of dedicated work.

This effort fosters a cohesive workforce by uniting new, current, and outgoing personnel under a shared commitment to excellence, as PGLU strengthens its mission of delivering efficient and compassionate public service to every KaPROBINSYAnihan.
