PGLU #AyatFest2023 Inter-Local Government Unit Governor's Cup Basketball Tournament

Loud cheers and strong support filled the court as the Provincial Government of La Union leads the opening of the Inter-Local Government Unit Governor's Cup Basketball Tournament at San Juan Gymnasium on March 1, 2023.
The program kicks off with a parade followed by an exhibition game between PBA Legends and Itlog ni Batman team.
With an aim to develop their basketball prowees while upholding sportsmanship and camaraderie, 13 teams proudly representing their municipalities participated in the said tournament.
Team Luna dominated the first match of the game against Team Burgos with a score 121-78 while Team Bangar won against Team Pugo with a score 105-95 in the second match. There will be other game sets with the other towns in the succeeding days.
Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David together with San Juan Vice Mayor Mannix Ortega graced the event.
The said event is one of the highlights of the Ayat Fest in celebration of the 173rd La Union Founding Anniversary.
