PDRRMO Declares Red Alert Status in Anticipation of Effects of #BettyPH in La Union

As forecast shows that effects of Typhoon #BettyPH will be felt in the Province of La Union as early as tonight, May 28, 2023, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) has raised Red Alert Status for its operations.
The PDRRMO also continued its field observations to ensure that Local Government Units are also ready for any incident. The Municipality of Luna has declared suspension of classes in all levels on Monday, May 29, 2023.
As of writing, there is no Tropical Cyclone Signal in the province and no disaster-related incident was recorded.
