MV Doulos Hope Floating Bookfair Docks in La Union; Crew Expresses Thanks for Warm Welcome

The international floating bookfair MV Doulos Hope docks at the Poro Point Freeport Zone, City of San Fernando, La Union on March 6, 2024 as they prepare for the Grand Opening tomorrow.

The whole ship crew and staff were welcomed by the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) and the La Union National High School Marching Band.
"Salamat," said one of the crew, Jess Tanton as she expressed their appreciation for the assistance and warm welcome that the province extended to them.
The fair is open until March 24, 2024 with an entrance fee of P50.00 and free of charge for Senior Citizens, Persons with Disability, and children who are 12 years old and below.
The PGLU, led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David, identifies with the team of Doulos Hope in sharing knowledge, help and hope.
