As a part of the 172nd Foundation Anniversary of the Province of La Union , the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology - Regional Office I (DICT-RO1) conducted an ICT Proficiency Diagnostic Exam for Computer Programming on February 21, 2022 held at the La Union Provincial Library LUPAC Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The said examination was designed to gauge the competency of an individual to perform Programming or System Analysis and Design function.
Eight examinees took the written examination which will assess their knowledge in Programming. This consists of questions on program simulation, number system, data structures, Object-Oriented Programming concepts and others.
Examinees with a passing rate of 80% on the said examination will proceed to the ICT Proficiency Certification Examination or hands-on exam which is a six-hour application development using the examineeβs preferred language.
