La Union Second District Residents Receive Free Medical Assistance from Ako Bicol Partylist

Residents from the Second District of La Union benefitted from the recently concluded Ako Bicol Partylist Medical and Dental Mission held on February 7, 2025, at the La Union Medical Center.
Beneficiaries, mostly residents from various barangays of the district, received free medical consultation, medicine, laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures. Medical expenses were also covered in the program. The Partylist partnered with the Provincial Government of La Union to ensure the success of the event.
Ako Bicol Congressman Zaldy Co, represented by Mr. Paulo Espiritu, Chief of Staff, emphasized their commitment to assisting more Filipinos who struggle to access medical professionals, and proper health services through the said event.
Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David also expressed her support for the initiative, emphasizing that the Provincial Government welcomes all efforts to provide medical assistance, regardless of affiliation, because the primary goal is to serve the people of La Union and ensure their well-being.
The PGLU is remains steadfast in advancing Gov. Rafy’s P.U.S.O. Agenda, particularly in ensuring Universal Access to Basic Needs, including quality healthcare services. Through strong partnerships and collaborative efforts, PGLU continues to implement programs and initiatives that promote the health and welfare of La Union residents, reinforcing its commitment to building a caring and inclusive province.
