La Union Exhibits PROBINSYAnihan, Collects 210 Bags of Blood

La Union PROBINSYAnihan was once again shown as volunteer kaprobinsiaan took part in the provincewide blood donation activities in celebration of the World Blood Donor Day on June 14, 2023 in the Province of La Union.
A total of 236 kaprobinsiaan signified their willingness to donate resulting to a total of 210 bags of blood collections.
Aside from employees of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), among the participating agencies and partners in the activity were the Philippine Red Cross – La Union; component local government of San Juan; Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center; Lorma Medical Center; Lorma Colleges; Lorma Medical Center Laboratory; Philippine Association of Medical Technologists La Union; Philippine Dental Association La Union; Philippine Coast Guard; Philippine National Police (PNP) La Union Police Provincial Office; PNP Regional Office 1; Bureau of Jail Management and Penology; Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 1 ;and the Department of Health Regional Office 1.
Meals, snacks, and freebies were distributed to blood donors as a symbol of appreciation.
The PGLU, under the leadership of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David, continues to spearhead activities that foster volunteerism and coming together of the community to improve the quality of life in the province.
