La Union Conducts Simultaneous Cleanup Drive in #AyatFest2025

Embodying La Union PROBINSYAnihan for #KalikasanNaman, the Provincial Government of La Union spearheaded the conduct of Oplan Dalus Probinsya, a province-wide cleanup drive, on March 2, 2025, to enhance the cleanliness of roads and bodies of water across La Union.
The Oplan Dalus Probinsya was participated in by 18 Local Government Units in the province, where government employees, agencies, community members, and volunteers came together to sweep streets, clear debris, and collect waste in key areas of their barangays.
Most of the wastes collected were plastic wrappers, sachets, sando bags, cigarette butts, PET bottles, styrofoam cups, containers, and fragments. Unusual items found were diapers, used clothing, and abandoned/ discarded fishing nets.
More than just a cleanup effort, the initiative also aimed to instill a deeper awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment and to foster a sense of environmental responsibility among KaPROBINSYAnihan during the #AyatFest2025 and throughout the year.
