Almeida Watchtower

Description: Standing at the coral stone laid shores near Darigayos area (Balaoan, La Union side) and few more meters from the bridge, is this brick and stone rotund watchtower. Slowly worn by time, shrubs and small trees grow at its walls penetrating to its crevices and cracks.



Ar-arampang Handicraft Making

Immuki Island

Description: Immuki Island is one of the newest tourist attractions in the municipality. Part of the pristine waters of the Paraoir Beach, the Immuki Island is a lagoon that resembles a natural pool ideal for swimming, diving and picnicking.



San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish

Description: The church was constructed around the 1820s. It was half-complete in 1829 with its sacristy and main chapel done. Father Juan Antonio Fernandez continued the construction by extending the church from the presbytery to the main entrance from his appointment to Balaoan in 1769 until his death in 1829. Father Valentin Noval continued the work on the church when he was appointed in 1839. When Father Noval died in 1864, the church was finally finished. In 1877, a convent and cemetery was built under the supervision of Father Casimiro Melgosa. The church was slightly damaged by an earthquake in 1880. Father Isidro Saez repaired the church in 1891. Although the church underwent major renovations, it has retained its original foundation and designs.
Description: The church is very well maintained. The festival devoted for the Patron Saint is very well attended by locals and pilgrims. There is an opportunity for centered-devotion activity.

Dalisungsung Falls

Description: This falls is located 8 kilometers away from the town proper. This site is ideal for a quick swim and picnics. Nature lovers would love the splash of fresh water and the abundant greens surrounding this area.
