Kaprobinsiaan MMA Fighters Claim Gold in Kabayan Fury 1

Showcasing their superb fighting skills, two Mixed Martial Art Fighters from the Province of La Union took home two gold medals after emerging victorious during their match in the Team Lakay Championship - Kabayan Fury 1 held at Kabayan, Benguet on April 29, 2023.
Representing La Union, John Ira Barrientos won the match via Referee Stoppage and Technical Knock Out while Elvester Gaspar dominated the match and won via Rear Naked Choke. Both are proud athletes of the Team Lakay San Fernando City.
The Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David extends its warmest congratulations to the Kaprobinsiaan fighters for bringing pride and honor to the province. Gov. Rafy remains committed to champion sports and youth development, and to further promote the well-being of every Kaprobinsiaan.
