Prayer warriors and Provincial Government of La Union employees headed by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III gathered early morning today, March 2, 2022, to join the Dawn Watch Prayer in celebration of the 172nd Foundation Anniversary of the province in the Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Just as the dawn promises new beginnings, the activity brought hope to the province and kaprobinsiaan as prayers and intentions of healing, recovery and thanksgiving were made.
Gov. Pacoy also imparted a short message for all. He said that this pandemic has brought us in different uncontrollable situations, but despite all the good and the bad, we should learn to trust God and uplift everything to Him, "There are things that we cannot control but I firmly believe that God is in control. Surrender to Him and everything will be okay."
The Dawn Watch Prayer is one of the highlights of the month-long La Union Foundation Anniversary celebration that serves a reminder to everyone to never falter in front of difficult situations, but rather be steadfast and face these challenges head-on, standing our ground, because we are a proud and resilient race of #LaUnionLaUnay.
