IOLUG MEMBERS COMMIT TO BOLSTER INFO DISSEMINATION IN LU

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through its information arm Provincial Information Office, has convened the Information Officers of La Union Guild (IOLUG) for its 1st Quarter Meeting held last May 12, 2023 at J&V Hotel, Brgy. Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Presided by City of San Fernando Corporate Relations Officer and IOLUG President Michael Jerome G. Mabanag, the meeting served as an avenue to plan for the upcoming activities of the organization and discuss the conduct of capacity development training for the IOLUG members. The meeting centered on the presentation of La Union Information Network Status and the improvement of contents of the respective social media pages of each LGU.
Furthermore, among the agenda during the assembly included the selection of new IOLUG logo, addressing the challenges of the Information Officers designate and sharing of best practices.
Vowing to empower each kaprobinsiaan through relevant and timely information, the PGLU led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David commits to strengthen collaboration with the designate Information Officers of the different municipalities in La Union to strengthen efforts which in turn would enhance the delivery of accurate and efficient public information services in the entire province.
