Caba District Hospital (CDH) commemorated its 51st Founding Anniversary with the theme “Beyond 50: A New Era of Healing Hands and Caring Hearts” highlighting the institution's commitment to fostering better healthcare services and community engagement.
The celebration began with a holy mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Jojo Quezada, followed by a series of activities including team-building with a simultaneous Information Education Campaign (IEC) on key health topics such as Heart Month, Cancer Awareness Month, Oral Health, Prevention of Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, and Solid Waste Management.
One of the highlights of the event was the search for CDH’s Mr. and Miss Transformer 2025, which showcased the creativity and wit of the hospital staff. Mario Jose C. Bacalzo, RN of the Nursing Department, and Clarisse D. Bisnan of the Ancillary Department were crowned as this year's titleholders.
Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David graced the occasion, encouraging the hospital personnel to continue their dedication to service. “Let's reach for the stars… later on, mapagmamayabang po natin talaga that Caba District Hospital is the go-to hospital po natin dito sa La Union!” the governor said.
Also in attendance were Caba Mayor Donna R. Crispino and Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Herminigildo Velasco.
As CDH moves forward as part of La Union PROBINSYAnihan, the institution continues to strive for excellence to provide the best possible care to the patients, embrace innovation, foster collaboration, and continue to deliver exceptional health services to all KaPROBINSYAnihan.
