The Provincial Government of La Union has recognized three young farmers who topped the provincial search for Young Farmers Challenge Fund: Kabataang Agribiz Competitive Grant Assistance Program. They are Mr. Antonio B. Fontanilla, Jr., Ms. Veberly T. Jubilo and Mr. Frederick M. Uyaan.

Featuring his best contemporary works, multi-awarded local painter and former President of Artists Guild of La Union (AGLAUN) Rodel Rillera opened his one-man art exhibit โLadawanโ at Robinsonโs Place La Unionโs 4th Level Sunset Dining on February 26, 2022. The exhibit which will run until March 26, 2022, is a testament of the ARTablado initiative of the said mall as a platform to support and promote La Unionโs local genius in the arts.
To ensure readiness in water-related emergencies at any time, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) conducted a five-day Basic Water Rescue with Watercraft Operations Training to 24 volunteers identified by the Local Government of Agoo on February 21-25, 2022 in Agoo, La Union.
In support to the #KalikasanNaman, the Provincial Government of La Unionโs forefront program on fostering ecological integrity, and clean and healthy environment, the Provincial Government -Environment and Natural Resources (PG-ENRO) strengthen its programs and initiatives on environmental advocacies through celebrating environmental events such as World Wetlands Day.
