DTI-R1, LU, CITEM pay courtesy visit to Gov. Rafy; Welcomes New Market Opportunities for La Union MSMEs

Gov. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega-David welcomes new market opportunities for La Union MSMEs during the courtesy visit of the Department of Trade and Industry Region 1 and La Union together with the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) at the Office of the Provincial Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union on May 3, 2023.
The visiting offices informed Gov. Rafy about their intent to meet and invite MSMEs and stakeholders in the province to take part in the upcoming Manila FAME Trade Show happening on October. Consequently, Gov. Rafy expressed her full support to the said event as this will serve as a great platform for La Union MSMEs to bring and promote tatak LUcal products in the mainstream market. Local Investment and Promotions Unit Head Ms. Angela Grace Peralta was also present during the meeting to assist the visitors.
The Provincial Government of La Union under the leadership of Gov. Rafy remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthen local MSMEs in the province. This is possible through expanding locally-produced products in a wider market to make them globally competitive. This remains vital towards attaining the vision of La Union to be the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025.
