Gov. Rafy Empowers PWD Community; Expresses support in the plans, initiatives of Pederasyon ng May Kapansanan ng La Union

Empowering the PWD Community in the province, Gov. Rafy Ortega-David expressed her support in the plans and initiatives of Pederasyon ng May Kapansanan ng La Union (PMKLU) as the group visited her for a courtesy call on May 8, 2023, at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
After discussing PMKLU plans and activities for this year, the lady governor assured the group of the Provincial Government of La Union's unwavering commitment to continue providing programs and services that would cater to the needs of the PWDs in the province.
Gov. Rafy also highlighted the ongoing installation of elevator in the Provincial Capitol for a more PWD-friendly and accessible structure in line with the administration's advocacy to provide equal opportunities and services to PWDs.
The PMKLU expressed their gratitude towards Gov. Rafy and the PGLU for the continued support towards PWD sector.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing commitment towards #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan for the betterment of the PWD community in La Union.
