Civil Society Organizations in La Union to Push Projects, Programs as PGLU Grants them Financial Assistance

To show gratitude and appreciation to the Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in La Union for their continued commitment to the call for La Union PROBINSYAnihan, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) granted them a Financial Assistance as support to the implementation of their respective Outreach and Livelihood Programs.
On January 17, 2023, Governor Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David spearheaded the distribution of Checks for the second batch of PGLU Financial Assistance to 46 Civil Society Organizations. This breakthrough initiative of the Province aims to partner with the CSOs in advocating the La Union Probinsyanihan and signifies the Provincial Governmentโs willingness to work hand-in-hand with its external key players from various sectors. Indeed, CSOs and PGLU exude Kapit-bisig in strengthening citizens' engagement in the province.
During her inspirational message, the Governor expressed her sincerest appreciation to the CSOs for their continued support in achieving the Provinceโs mission. โMay this encourage all of you to maintain the drive and the passion to be of service for La Union and its peopleโ she stressed.
The first batch of distribution was held on December 15, 2022 wherein 30 CSOs benefited from the program.
