The Naguilian District Hospital (NDH) continues to strengthen its healthcare services with the recent hiring of 17 new personnel, consisting of 12 Contract of Service (COS) positions and 5 Job Order (JO) staff. It aims to boost operational efficiency and improve patient care across all Departments.
Among the newly hired COS personnel are Nurses, Pharmacists, Medical Technologists, Medical Officer III, and a Radiologic Technologist, who will contribute to the delivery of healthcare functions. On the other hand, the five JO positions filled, which include Clerks and Utility Workers, will provide needed administrative and logistical support.
To ensure a smooth transition, the new hires were given a hospital tour and orientation, facilitated by Administrative Clerk Cherry Mae Rivera. It covered hospital protocols, departmental functions, and NDH’s mission and vision in line with its service to the people of La Union.
“With the addition of these passionate and skilled individuals, we are confident in our ability to continue improving our services and meet the growing healthcare needs of our catchment areas,” Chief of Hospital Officer-in-Charge Dr. Dan William Y. Dacanay II stated as he expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition to the team.
The onboarding of the employees marks another milestone in NDH’s journey toward the improved delivery of Universal Access to Basic Needs guided by the PGLU’s PUSO Agenda.
