In celebration of National Bible Month, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), under the leadership of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, held its culminating activity through a Bible Devotional Activity across its offices, work units, and district hospitals on January 31, 2025. This initiative aimed to strengthen the spiritual foundation of its employees, guiding them toward the righteous path.

The activity, dubbed “Be Blessed by the Blessed Book,” was organized in partnership with the National Chaplains of the Philippines. It highlighted the blessings of the Almighty God that come from embracing and living by His words. As the holy book states, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16, NIV). Employees were reminded that the Bible is more than just a book but the living Word of God, a source of guidance for every challenge and opportunity that life brings.

Through this religious observance, the PGLU reaffirms its belief that a spiritual connection with the Lord fosters integrity, compassion, and excellence in public service. The Provincial Government encourages every KaPROBINSYAnihan to integrate Bible reading into their daily routines to inspire a stronger and more meaningful relationship with God.
