ROSARIO DAYCARE LEARNERS SMILE BRIGHTER AS THEY LEARN ORAL HEALTH

The month of February is widely known as love month, hence it is a perfect time to teach children to love their teeth as Oral Health Month is likewise celebrated on the same month.
With the objective to raise awareness and promote Oral Health to the young learners of Rosario, La Union, the Rosario District Hospital (RDH) in partnership with the Department of Health - National Association of Dentists (DHNAD), conducted an Oral Health Outreach Program to the Daycare Centers in the said municipality.
On February 9, 2023, the team from RDH and DHNAD visited the daycare pupils of Parasapas Day Care Center. They were taught how to properly brush their teeth and how to avoid oral problems. Free fluoride application and distribution of oral health kits were also conducted. Further, parents and guardians were advised to have their childrenβs regular dental visits and examinations every 6 months.
RDH remains committed to the Provincial Government of La Union and Gov. Raphaelle Veronica βRafyβ Ortega-Davidβs advocacy in bringing PGLUβs services closer to the kaprobinsiaan through conducting outreach programs to effectively realize the goals and objectives of our beloved Province.
