To mark their Golden Anniversary as a medical institution, Rosario District Hospital (RDH) will be conducting a year-round Medical and Dental Mission as their way of giving back to the people of Rosario, La Union, especially those who have supported and trusted them for the past 50 years.
The said activity is aligned to the medical institutionโs mission to be the center of wellness that provides an efficient and effective quality health care services that are accessible, affordable, cost effective and equitable to the people of Rosario and its catchment areas
RDHโs first medical mission was successfully held on April 18, 2022 catering more than 400 patients with various medical needs. Free laboratory and dental services such as blood typing, fasting blood sugar, blood cholesterol testing, tooth extraction and dental cleaning were enjoyed by the patients . Moreso, free circumcision to 83 young gents and free ultrasound for expecting mothers were likewise provided. Health coaching with the attendees was also done to promote a healthy and positive lifestyle.
RDHโs medical and dental mission was made possible with the support of their generous sponsors and hardworking medical and non-medical staff headed by their Hospital Chief Dr. Michelle D. Arellano. RDH also gives gratitude for the presence of the Provincial Health Office represented by Provincial Health Officer I Dr. Dan William Dacanay, and LGU Rosario Health personnel.
