PGLU's 1st Monday Flag Raising Emanates Hope, Purpose and Passion as Employees Took Oath, Recognized

The month of February manifests hope, purpose, and passion to the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) as Gov. Raphaelle Veronica โRafyโ Ortega-David led the first Monday flag-raising ceremony and administered mass oath-taking of newly appointed employees and recognition of service awardees on February 6, 2023.
In front of the PGLU Community and Gov. Rafy, 12 employees made their pledge to be part of the empowered, goal-driven, and committed workforce of the PGLU. They were Zyjazz D. De Guzman, Youth Development Officer III of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO); Kameko D. Marquez, Development Management Officer II of the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO); and Mark Anthony F. Artienda, Administrative Officer II (Information Officer I) of the Provincial Information Office (PIO). Personnel from the Office of the Vice-Governor and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Office also took their oath. They were Jonathan G. Ablao and Catherine C. Martinez, Clerk I; and as Laborer I, Jonalyn A. Balunsat; Kimberly M. Subido; Margie Rose V. Pulmano; Jenny B. Gapasin; Cris C. Dulay; Jake B. Natividad; and Kristine C. Estipular.
In addition, ten service awards were conferred to retirees who have rendered notable and significant contributions to government service. They were Emily O. Abenes of Naguilian District Hospital (NDH) with 31 years of service; Rosario F. Borgonia of NDH, with 36 years of service; Joselito R. Galinato of NDH with 30 years of service; Arturo U. Bucsit of Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) with 30 years of service; Genoveva O. Ocasion of Balaoan District Hospital (BLDH) with 34 years of service; Basilica C. Ragmac of Provincial Health Office (PHO) with 31 years of service; Engr. Gertrudes A. Asprec of Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) with 28 years of service; Engr. Arsenio Roy C. Villalon of PEO with 34 years of service; Eunomio F. Rillera Jr. of PEO with 18 years of service; and Julius B. Nisperos of Office of the Provincial Assessor (OPAss) with 32 years of service.
The PGLU workforce continues to be a vital asset in realizing its vision of being the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025 through the #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan.
