With the continuous collaborative effort of the different government line agencies in empowering the community with accurate vaccine information, the Provincial Government of La Union together with the Department of Health Center for Health and Development Ilocos and the Department of Education forge ties to intensify the CoViD-19 vaccine advocacy campaign through the successful launching of the VACC2SCHOOL Program + BIDA Kid: Ligtas na Bakuna, Para sa Balik Eskwela held at Sto. Tomas Central Elementary School in Sto. Tomas, La Union yesterday, April 20, 2022.

The campaign focuses on informing and educating the teaching and clinic personnel including some parents of the said institution to increase awareness towards promoting the importance and benefits of vaccination among the pediatric population.

Along with the launching is the vaccination for the pediatric population aged 5-11 years old.

The PGLU remains steadfast in strengthening the vaccination program to protect children's health.
