To culminate the Philippine Environment Month Celebration, the Provincial Government of La Union awarded the Local Government Units (LGUs) that exhibited excellent environmental practices prompting their conferment as the 2023 Cleanest, Safest, and Greenest LGUs on June 21, 2024, at the La Union Convention Center, City of San Fernando, La Union.

As the Province of La Union approaches its vision to become the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan reaffirmed its commitment to this goal by conducting a Legislative Agenda Status-Update and Review on June 14, 2024, at Bayview Hall, Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Provincial Legislative Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.
